HYH has been supporting people in Hertfordshire since 1998. Their experienced workers are experts in their field and have directly helped over 5400 young people facing homelessness in the last 5 years alone.
Over 136,000 young people are facing homelessness in the UK right now, but HYH provide vital services to support these young people in achieving bright futures.
They work with closely in partnership with Herts County Council, local district councils and other agencies to improve local provision and overall, prevent youth homelessness.
hyh’s services range from prevention, to early intervention, crisis support and independent living support .
Resolve’s purpose is to meet the needs of local people who need substance misuse treatment, are homeless or are experiencing poverty.
They help people move to manageable, positive lifestyles where they can contribute and enhance their local community.
We run Adult Drug and Alcohol Treatment services based in Welwyn Garden City and North Herts. Treatment includes group therapy, individual key work and professional counselling. Evening sessions and Friend and Family groups are also provided.
Resolve’s Homeless and Rough Sleeper Project, Restart provides homeless solutions and support services for people who are street homeless, sleeping rough, sofa surfing or at immediate risk of homelessness.
Mind in Mid Herts has a collaborative, positive and holistic approach to promoting mental wellbeing. We support individuals who are suffering or who have suffered from mental and emotional distress. This is achieved by following the Recovery Model which enables individuals to make well informed life choices. This way of working underpins all aspects of work within the organisation
